IntelligentApps - Reporting and Analysis
IntelligentApps provides a complete set of reporting and
analysis tools for Microsoft Analysis Server, totally integrated within
Excel. The Excel user simply selects the cube of data, clicks the mouse,
and a default report based upon their area of interest is automatically
presented. Modifying this initial view is simply a case of drag and drop
functionality and checking selection boxes. The final report can contain
embedded Excel calculations with Excel formatting, all of which are
preserved as you drill through the underlying data. Save the report to the
IntelligentApps Web Server and that report is available immediately across
the organization, interactively through a web browser. No knowledge of MDX
is required, although if you wish to access and customize the MDX you can.

deployments have not generally been realized due to the complexity and
high cost of deployment. Lack of reuse of client code on the server has
also caused limitations.

Edition, the only difference is that rather than saving the report to
